Hey Guys, welcome to my new website called the Court Street Theatre. This site is about promoting awareness to the performing arts and theatre industries. It is dedicated to the Court Street Theatre in Nashua, New Hampshire and performing arts theaters around the world.

A lot of these theaters is based on a non-profit status and raising money is always a priority in many cases. Having the funds to maintain the cleaning and up keep of the facility is important. I’am sure there are many other expenses involved to keep the theatre running like clock work.

The maintenance of the building structure itself is a big expense. A new coat of exterior paint every few years is probably required to maintain an attractive appearance. Every 15 or so years, a new roofing needs to be installed. Exterior and interior lighting needs to be replaced. The list goes on and on.

Some of these performing companies like ballet, broadway musicals, and dance companies have performances with children participation. This is because these companies have children classes.

 

 

Children usually attract family and friends to their performances, which supports the theatre. Who doesn’t like to watch children performing? especially if it ‘s their own children. I have my fair share of attending my own children’s performances over the years.
